Incorporated in 2009, SA Aéroport de Montpellier Méditerranée is a public limited company with a Supervisory Board and Management Board.
Second shareholder after the State, the Hérault Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI Hérault) participates in the development strategy of Montpellier airport and the consolidation of tourist flows.
While it supports the development and represents the interests of the 100,000 companies in the Hérault department, it also ensures that, alongside all partners, the identity of our territory lives, which attracts many tourists and managers each year.

Welcome to Occitanie!
In the South of France, Occitanie is one of the most attractive regions in Europe. The Occitans thrive in an exceptional natural, heritage and historical living environment, between the Mediterranean Sea and the Pyrenees mountains. Attached to their territories, they are open and welcoming.
From the Pyrenees to the Massif Central, from the valleys of Gers to the shores of the Mediterranean, from the Garonne to the Rhône, our region offers an unparalleled variety of landscapes. Occitanie has 8 regional natural parks, 2 national parks (Pyrenees National Park, Cévennes National Park) and 1 marine park (Gulf of Lion Marine Park).
Our coastline is the most protected and safeguarded of the French Mediterranean coast. Our region is also rich in history, as evidenced by an exceptional heritage: ten sites classified as World Heritage by UNESCO, including the Pont du Gard and the City of Carcassonne, and more than 5,000 historical monuments.
Occitanie is also a land of culture and festivals. The largest contribute to the region's influence at both national and international levels. All reflect the diversity of our cultural offering.
Finally, Occitanie is a region that has elevated gastronomy to the rank of an art of living. It is a large open-air market with an exceptional diversity of quality and exceptional products: fruits, vegetables, seafood, meats, wines, etc.
Take the time to discover and savor our Occitanie. It really deserves it.
Carole Delga
President of the Occitanie / Pyrénées-Méditerranée Region
Hérault, with its exceptional sunshine and its nationally and internationally renowned coastline, is an unmissable tourist destination. We historically welcome a large number of visitors each summer to the region's seaside resorts, and the Hérault Department, in partnership with Hérault Tourisme, is working to diversify the tourist, visit and reception offers available in our region, in order to highlight lesser-known areas and offer the people of Hérault and others varied and enriching visits at any time of the year.
Through the Hérault Oenotour and Conchylitour, born from partnerships with the profession, many people can discover our region in a new light. Similarly, the Terre d'Hérault Geopark will show our region from a unique geological perspective that traces the thousand-year-old history of our department.
It will be an honor to introduce Hérault to as many people as possible!
Kléber Mesquida
President of the Hérault Department
Southern Territory, we have an exceptional Mediterranean climate with 300 days of sunshine per year. By the sea, residents can enjoy the beaches and the hinterland, between scrubland and wine-growing plains, encourages getaways and contributes to making Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole a territory with an ideal geographical location.
Committed to an approach with an environmental and societal impact, our community takes as much care of its living environment as it stimulates the growth of its companies by supporting innovation. By relying on strategic and efficient tools such as the BIC and the MIBI, the territory deploys sectors of excellence recognized nationally and internationally. MedVallée around health, food and the environment or the Cultural and Creative Industries which undertake and innovate, question our world and transcend our imaginations.
In addition, Montpellier and its Metropolis enjoy a remarkable wine heritage, representing more than 3,000 hectares in the heart of the largest vineyard in the world, driven by a wine center since 2021.
The cultural and sports policy is just as dynamic with a dense and attractive offer based on major facilities such as the Berlioz Opera, the Fabre Museum, Park&Suites Arena. The territory hosts internationally renowned events every year such as the FISE, the Printemps des Comédiens and Montpellier Danse.
